Questions

How do I write a pattern?

YYYY is the year, MM the month and DD the day, as numbers; HH, mm and ss the hours, minutes and seconds. MMMM gives October, MMM Oct, dddd Friday, Do 9th, hh and A a 12-hour clock with AM or PM, and Z the offset. Put words in [brackets] to keep them as they are.

What is ISO 8601?

The international way to write dates, biggest part first: 2026-10-09T15:01:41+05:30. It sorts in order as text and can't be mistaken, which is why programs and APIs use it.
