Questions
Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?
Not directly. You can cover it with white-out and write new text on top, which is how most small corrections are made.
Does white-out remove the text underneath?
No. It covers the text, so it can't be seen or printed, but the text is still in the file and can be copied out of it. Don't use it to hide private information.
Is Edit PDF free?
Yes, and as often as you like. It works in your browser, so there is nothing to sign up for.
What happens to my files?
They stay on your device. The tool works in your browser, so your files are never uploaded.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in the browser on any computer, tablet or phone.
Can I use Edit PDF from my own code?
Not yet. It is worked by hand, page by page, so it is only on this site for now. The other tools are API endpoints too.
