    Questions

Is summer time taken into account?

Yes. Each zone's clock changes are known for the date you choose, so a meeting next spring shows the right time even if clocks change before then.

How do I find a zone?

Type a city such as London or Sydney, a short name such as IST, EST or PST, or an offset such as UTC+5:30. Zones are named after a city in them, so choose the city nearest you that shares its clock.

    Is Time zone converter free?

Yes, and as often as you like. It works in your browser, so there is nothing to sign up for.

Is what I type sent anywhere?

No. Everything is worked out in your browser, with its own time zone data, so nothing you type leaves your device.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in the browser on any computer, tablet or phone.

Can I use Time zone converter from my own code?

You won't need to: every programming language can convert timestamps, time zones and dates with what it has built in. This page is for quick checks by hand.
