Save PDF workflows and run them in one go
If you do the same steps to every file, save them once. Each step's result goes straight into the next, so you upload once and download once, and you never pick the same settings twice.
Included with paid plans and the week pass.
What you get
Up to 10 steps
Office to PDF, OCR, rotate, delete pages, redact, watermark, page numbers, compress, PDF/A, and converting to Word, Excel, PowerPoint or images.
Settings kept
Each step keeps its settings, such as the watermark's text or the OCR languages, so every run is the same.
Up to 20 workflows
Keep one for scans, one for invoices, one for contracts, and run whichever fits.
Over the API
On Developer and above, run a saved workflow, or one described in the request, from your own code.
How it works
- 1
Name the workflow and add its steps in order.
- 2
Save it, with the settings for each step.
- 3
Run it on a file and download the result of the last step.
Questions
Which tools can a workflow use?
The tools that run on our servers and need no password: Office to PDF (as the first step), OCR, rotate, delete pages, redact, watermark, page numbers, compress and PDF/A, and PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint or images (as the last step).
How is a workflow counted?
Each step is one operation, and steps with a paid tool are paid tool jobs too. We check that you have enough for the whole run before it starts.
What if a step fails?
The run stops there, and the result of the step before it is kept, so you can download it from your history.
Is it free?
Saved workflows come with the paid plans and the week pass. Every tool on its own can still be used with a free account.
