Will my Word document look the same as a PDF?
Very nearly. Pages break where Word breaks them, and common fonts such as Calibri, Arial and Times New Roman are matched letter for letter. A rare font is replaced with the closest one we have.
Can I convert a Word file with a password?
Not while it needs a password to open. Remove the password in Word, save the file, and convert it then.
Is Word to PDF free?
It is included with our paid plans. A free account can try it a few times a month, and every paid plan includes more. Plans cost less than most.
What happens to my files?
Your uploads are deleted as soon as the job finishes. The file we make is deleted after an hour, or straight away if you press Delete now. We don't look at your files or keep copies.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in the browser on any computer, tablet or phone.
Can I use Word to PDF from my own code?
Yes. Every tool is also an API endpoint. Send your files to POST /v1/office-to-pdf with an API key from your Account page, then download the result when the job is done.
