Can I save a page that needs signing in?
No. The page is opened as a new visitor sees it, without your accounts or cookies, so pages behind a sign-in come out as their sign-in page. Save such a page as HTML in your browser, then use HTML to PDF.
Which addresses can I use?
Any page on the public internet, starting with https:// or http://. Addresses on private networks, such as a router's page or a company intranet, can't be opened.
Why does the PDF look different from my screen?
Sites decide how their pages print, and many hide menus and adverts or change their layout on paper. The PDF shows what the site lays out for printing.
Is Web page to PDF free?
It is included with our paid plans. A free account can try it a few times a month, and every paid plan includes more. Plans cost less than most.
What happens to my files?
Your uploads are deleted as soon as the job finishes. The file we make is deleted after an hour, or straight away if you press Delete now. We don't look at your files or keep copies.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in the browser on any computer, tablet or phone.
Can I use Web page to PDF from my own code?
Yes. Every tool is also an API endpoint. Send your files to POST /v1/url-to-pdf with an API key from your Account page, then download the result when the job is done.
