Questions

Will the slides look like my PDF?

Yes. Pictures, shapes and charts are kept as the slide's background, and the text sits on top with its fonts, sizes and colours, so you can edit it and the slide still looks like the page.

What size are the slides?

The size of the PDF's pages, so slides made from a presentation stay wide and pages from a document stay tall.

What about scanned PDFs?

A scanned page is a picture of text, so it comes back as a picture. Make the PDF searchable with OCR PDF first, then convert it, to get text you can edit.

Is PDF to PowerPoint free?

It is included with our paid plans. A free account can try it a few times a month, and every paid plan includes more. Plans cost less than most.

What happens to my files?

Your uploads are deleted as soon as the job finishes. The file we make is deleted after an hour, or straight away if you press Delete now. We don't look at your files or keep copies.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in the browser on any computer, tablet or phone.

Can I use PDF to PowerPoint from my own code?

Yes. Every tool is also an API endpoint. Send your files to POST /v1/pdf-to-powerpoint with an API key from your Account page, then download the result when the job is done.
