How to turn phone photos of documents into one PDF
Updated
A form asks for a PDF, and all you have is photos on your phone. Image to PDF puts them into one PDF, in your browser, so the photos stay on your phone.
Open Image to PDFMake the PDF
- 1Open Image to PDF on your phone or computer.
- 2Choose the photos. JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP all work.
- 3Drag them into order and pick a page size.
- 4Download one PDF with a page for each photo.
iPhone photos
iPhones save photos as HEIC files, which Image to PDF doesn't take. Choosing photos in Safari on the iPhone itself usually hands them over as JPG, so this rarely matters there. If you have HEIC files on a computer, change them to JPG first with the Image converter, then make the PDF. Most browsers other than Safari can't read HEIC, so for those the converter works on our servers and needs a free account.
Better photos, better PDF
Photograph each page flat, in daylight, from straight above, so the text isn't skewed or shadowed. Crop away the table around the page before you start.
Photos are large, so the PDF can be several megabytes. If a website wants a smaller file, run it through Compress PDF.
